Store Manager

We are seeking experienced candidates to support the continued expansion of our company. All candidates should be passionate about the Planet Blue brand, driven on delivering exceptional in-store experience, and possess outstanding management/leadership skills.

The Store Manager plans and directs the day-to-day sales and operations of the store. This person develops strategies to improve customer service, drives store sales, increases profitability, creates store policies and develops marketing programs that will increase sales and grow the existing customer base. They have a responsibility to maintain high store visual standards and work conditions and foster a positive, good vibes environment. They ensure customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. They ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability. They forecast staffing needs, develop a recruiting strategy to provide optimal staffing, and train and development to create bench strength for future needs of business.

    • Dynamic personality showing high levels of interaction on the sales floor with team and clients
    • Obsessed with all things fashion and styling using dress code and PB inventory to style team and present high fashion trends
    • High emotional intelligence with ability to manage delicate myriad of personalities relating to team and client database
    • Left and right brain indicating abilities to weave between logic/facts/math and emotions/creativity/arts
    • Written and verbal communication skills with high ability to create professional and tone appropriate emails and conversations
    • Organizational skills advocated through a streamlined backroom, back stock and cash wrap
    • Local market knowledge with consistent proposals of mutually beneficial local market partnerships
    • Results Driven as show by achieving sales plan and top KPI performance
    • Strategic Planning as illustrated in future business planning months ahead and bench strength candidates
    • Management and leadership proficiency with strong team feedback and support
    • Extremely responsible and reliable with great attention to time and attendance policy
    • Excellent problem-solving skills as shown through daily conflicts that arise
    • Professional and confident attitude as supported through strong relationships with store Manager fleet
    • Ability to motivate others as indicated on team selling and 70-80% sales floor presence

    • Quick learner with ability to self -study new reports and templates
    • Multi-tasking skills with ability to prioritize tasks and biggest wins to the business
    • Team Player – in store and across store fleet as shown in interpersonal company relationships
    • Minimum of 3 years management experience and 6 years retail experience
    • Established local client book required
